Terms of Service

Rules, responsibilities, and limits that govern your use of LogicLift.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the LogicLift website and application (the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. You must be at least 16 years old and have authority to bind any organisation you represent.

2. Services description

LogicLift provides a platform that extracts, translates, and deploys legacy data pipelines to modern cloud-native targets. The Services include ingestion, code generation, human-in-the-loop review, synthetic testing, and integration with third party systems you configure.

3. Accounts and security

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access or breach.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose a security risk.

4. User conduct rules

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws or regulations.
  • Upload, process, or transmit data that you do not have the right to use, including data containing malware, illegal content, or third-party personal data without proper authorisation.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, exploit, or interfere with the Services or infrastructure.
  • Abuse authentication, API rate limits, or bypass access controls.
  • Use the Services to generate or distribute harmful, fraudulent, or misleading content.
  • Automatically scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Services without written permission.

5. Your data and content

You retain ownership of any data, code, or configurations you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process, translate, and store your data solely to provide the Services. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and process such data and for complying with all applicable data protection laws.

We do not claim ownership of your generated pipeline code or output. You may use generated artifacts subject to your subscription terms.

6. Intellectual property

LogicLift, its logos, software, and content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our platform without our prior written consent.

7. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

  • Subscription terms, fees, and billing periods are described on our Pricing page.
  • Trials may be limited in features, project count, or duration and may require a valid payment method to continue after the trial period.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.
  • All fees are non-refundable except where required by law or as explicitly stated in a separate agreement.

8. Confidentiality and security

We encrypt sensitive credentials at rest and transmit data over TLS. You are responsible for configuring your own integrations securely and for classifying the data you upload. You must not share account access with unauthorised parties.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT GENERATED CODE WILL MEET YOUR PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS WITHOUT REVIEW.

Generated code, translations, and test results should be reviewed, tested, and validated before deployment. You are solely responsible for production use.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOGICLIFT AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability, or £100 if you have not paid us.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LogicLift from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the Services, your data, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for violation of these terms, non-payment, or operational necessity. You may terminate your account by contacting support or using the account deletion feature in the application. Upon termination, we will delete or anonymise your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, except where retention is required by law.

13. Dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at legal@logiclift.co.uk. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
